Interiors project

I managed to grab 10 minutes this morning to shoot a few images for the FISHPHARTs (now f11) interiors project. I have been struggling to access the space as we are in the midst of degree show madness at the uni, as you can see there is a stage setup in the dome space. Ideally I would want to shoot with an empty space and use some flash against the walls but it wasn't possible with the stage in place so I concentrated on lighting the dome. I used a combination of 3 nikon speed lights, two off board on remote and one onboard as a master. This was useful to control the flashes without running over to them every time an adjustment was needed. Here's a sample of the images, your comments are welcome.

Jonathan Worth photos in National Portrait Gallery

Jonathan Worth, a lecturer I work with at Coventry University, currently has his work exhibited in the NPG. I helped interview him today for the ITV central news who are doing a story on him. He's a great guy to work with and an excellent photographer who has worked all over the world and deserves the recognition. Check out the work in the NPG here. Well done mate!

You may recognise that the guy in the photo is Alan Moore who penned graphic novels such as V for vendetta, Watchmen, Sin City and many more!
